THE WORLD VILLAGE PROJECT LIMITED
The World Village Project is an arts and community development organisation with directors who have a long history of promoting diverse and creative combined arts events on the Isle of Wight going back to the DidgHeadRadio Festival in 2009. Their exceptional track record of bringing new and often unfamiliar music moving image and spoken word to new audiences was first recognised by Arts Council England in 2015 who provided funding to establish a new not for profit annual festival the MONDOMIX and in 2017 a series of monthly multi arts events located in a community development hub in Ryde entitled MONDOGIGS@ASPIRE. The company also coordinates a community enrichment project know as FreshwaterLIVE. The World Village Project company is limited by guarantee and does not have shareholders looking for profit.
